COUNCILMAN LARUE, in the capacity of Chairman, called the meeting to Roll Call: Present: Absent: Councilmen Janes, LaRue, Nichols Mayor Akin, Mayor Pro Tem Long Present also: Gene Higgins, Associate City Manager; Doren R. Eskey City Attorney. Mayor Akin, Mayor Pro Tem Long, and City Manager Robert Tinstman were absent as they were attending the National League of Cities' Congress in New Orleans. Councilman LaRue announced this Special Council Meeting, previously scheduled for 2:00 P.M., December 6, 1968, was called for the purpose of evaluating offers received at the Auction held at 10:00 A.M., on the sale of surplus City properties. After evaluating the bids received on each parcel, Councilman Nichols moved to accept the offers on the following properties, having been auctioned at 10:00 A.M. this date: 11 Edgar L.
