CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Austin will be held on the 29th day of August, 1969, at the Municipal Building, Eighth and Colorado, in Austin, Texas, at 3:10 P.M. for the purpose of naming of a City Manager. All Council members present signed the Notice of Special Meeting called by the Mayor. Councilman Price moved the Council name MR. NORMAN BARKER as City Manager, City of Austin. The motion, seconded by Councilman MacCorkle, carried by the following vote: Ayes: Noes: Councilmen Gage, Janes, Johnson, MacCorkle, Price, Mayor LaRue None Absent: Councilman Atkison Councilman Janes moved the Council adjourn.
