=CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS: MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS Special Meeting January 24, 1974 5:00 Ρ.Μ. Electric Auditorium 301 West Avenue The meeting was called to order with Mayor Butler presiding. Roll Call: 70 Present: Councilmen Dryden, Friedman, Handcox, Lebermann, Mayor Pro-tem Love, Mayor Butler Absent: Councilman Binder The Mayor announced this was a Special Called Meeting of the City Council for the purposes of a Work Session for the City Council Agenda of January 24, 1974 at 7:00 P.M. and to announce publicly that during the meeting it would convene in a closed or executive session authorized by Section 2, Paragraphs (g) and (f) of Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated. The Mayor announced that the Council would go into executive session at this time to consider the items authorized by Section 2, Paragraphs (g) and (f) of Article 6252-17.
