Mayor's Office Municipal Building 124 West 8th Street The meeting was called to order with Mayor Butler presiding. ji Roll Call: Present: Councilmen Binder, Dryden, Friedman, Handcox, Lebermann, Mayor Butler, Mayor Pro Tem Love Absent: None The Mayor announced that this was a Special Called Meeting of the City Council for the purpose of considering appointments, and to announce publicly during the Meeting it would convene in a closed or executive session authorized by Section 2, Paragraph (g) of Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated; and after such closed or executive session, any final action, decision or vote with regard to any matter considered in the closed or executive session shall be made in open session, should such action, decision or vote be necessary, The Mayor announced that the Council would go into executive session at this time to consider the items authorized in Section 2, Paragraph (g) of Article 6252-17. The Council convened in open session with all members present. Councilman Lebermann moved that the Council appoint the following to serve as members of the HISTORIC LANDMARK COMMISSION: Judge Bob Shannon Donald Goldston Harold Legge Bill Parrish Roxanne Williamson Charles A. Betts Roy White Katherine Hart Emma Linn Norma Guerra Catherine Lamkin The motion, seconded by Councilman Friedman, carried by the following vote: =C1TY OF AUSTIN.
