Council Chambers 301 West Second Street The meeting was called to order with Mayor Friedman presiding. Roll Calls Present: Mayor Friedman, Mayor Pro Tem Snell, Councilmembers Himmelblau, Hofmann Absent: Councilmembers Lebermann, Linn, Trevino Mayor Friedman announced that this was a Special Called Meeting of the City Council for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on the proposed settlement with Coastal States - Lo Vaca QfatheringCGompany. PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SETTLEMENT WITH COASTAL STATESLO VACA GATHERING COMPANY Mayor Friedman opened the public hearing scheduled for 3:00 p.m. and stated that due to the "out of hand" and total rejection by Coastal States that has taken place, there is nothing to discass at this point. He pointed out that should further?indications come from Coastal States that they might be willing to talk, then the Council could reconvene with the public hearing to discuss the situation. Councilmember Hofmann moved that the Council close the public hearing on the proposed settlement with Coastal States - Lo Vaca Gathering Company with no action taken. The motion, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Snell, carried by the following vote* Ayes: Mayor Friedman, Mayor Pro Tem Snell, Councilmembers Himmelblau, Hofmann Noes: None Absent: Councilmembers Lebermann, Linn, Trevino =CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS= September 16. 1976 ADJOURNMENT The Council adjourned at 3:03 p.m. APPROVED ATTEST; City Clerk
