=CITY OF AUSTIN. TEXAS MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS Special Meeting September 24, 1976 4:00 PalM. Council Chambers 301 West Second Street The meeting was called to order with Mayor Friedman presiding. Roll Call: Present: Mayor Friedman, Mayor Pro Tern Snell, Councilmembers Hiramelblau, Hofmann, Lebermann, Linn, Trevino Absent: None Mayor Friedman announced that this was a Special Emergency Meeting of the City Council for the purpose of considering passage on second and third readings of an Ordinance adopting the 1976-77 Annual Operating Budget and appropriating funds for the 1978-77 fiscal year. Mayor Friedman brought up the following ordinance for its second reading! AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1976, AND TERMINATING SEPTEMBER 30, 1977, AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR EACH DEPARTMENT, PROJECT AND ACCOUNT. The ordinance was read the second time, and Councilmember Trevino moved that the ordinance be passed to its third reading. The motion, seconded by Councilmember Hofmann, carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmembers Trevino, Hlmmelblau, Hofmann, Lebermann Noest Mayor Friedman, Mayor Pro Tern Snell, Councilmember Linn The Mayor announced that the ordinance had been passed through its second reading only. :CITY OF AUSTIN.
