Council Chambers 301 West Second Street The meeting was called to order with Mayor Friedman presiding. Roll Call: Present: Mayor Friedman, Mayor Fro Tern Snell, Councilmetnibers Hlmmelblau, Hofmann, Linn, Trevino Absent: Councilmember Lebermann CANVASS OF BOND ELECTION The Council had before it the canvassing of the results of the Bond Election held on November 20, 1976. The following precincts were reviewed: Precinct 245 - Okay Precinct 331 - Okay Precinct 440 - It was noted that there was a discrepancy of 1 ballot Precinct 330 - Okay Precinct 139 - It was noted that there was a discrepancy of 1 ballot Precinct 130 - Okay Mayor Friedman pointed out that out of all the 77 precincts counted, 33,022 votes were cast which is 17.5% of the total of registered voters in Austin. =CITY OF AUSTIN. TEXAS November 22, 1976 The Summary Report showed the following; City Total Percent Proposition No. 1 For 20,299 61.88 Against 12,507 38.12 Proposition No. 2 For 20,304 62.21 Against 12,335 37.79 Presiding Judge of the Central Counting Station.MMr.JJibnoKy Barho, verified the results as being true and accurate. ; Mayor Pro Tern Snell moved that the Council adopt a resolution verifying the results of the Bond Election held on November 20, 1976. The motion, seconded by Councilmember Himmelblau, carried by the following vote; Ayes; Mayor Friedman, Mayor Pro Tern Snell, Councilmembers Himmelblau, Hofmann, Linn, Trevino Noes; None Absent: Councilmember Lebermann ADJOURNMENT The Council adjourned at 9:45 a.m. APPROVED ATTEST* City Clerk
