Bandidos Funeral Escort, No Helmet Ride
- Austin's City Council convened a brief special meeting.
- The Bandidos Motorcycle Group requested a parade permit for a funeral procession they wished to escort.
- The permit's main purpose was to legally allow group members to ride without helmets during the escort, bypassing state law which otherwise required them.
- The Council approved the request, granting the Bandidos a special permit to lead the funeral procession helmet-free.
