City Hall Conference Room 124 West Eighth Street The meeting was called to order with Mayor McClellan presiding. Roll Call: Present: Councilmembers Snell, Trevino, Mayor McClellan, Councilmembers Goodman, Himmelblau, Mullen Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Cooke ΑΝΝΕΧATION ORDINANCE Mayor McClellan brought up the following ordinance for its first reading: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN ADDITIONAL TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 127.87 ACRES OF LAND, SAME BEING OUT OF AND A PART OF THE T.J. CHAMBERS GRANT IN TRAVIS COUNTY, TEXAS; WHICH SAID ADDITIONAL TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN, IN PARTICULARS STATED IN THE ORDINANCE; SUSPENDING THE RULE REQUIRING THE READING OF ORDINANCES ON THREE SEPARATE DAYS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor McClellan announced Council would convene in a closed or executive session authorized by Section 2, Paragraphs (e), (f) and (g) of Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated; and after such closed or executive session, any final action, decision or vote with regard to any matter considered in the closed or executive session will be made in open session, should such action, decision or vote be necessary.
