Council Chambers 301 West Second Street The meeting was called to order with Mayor McClellan presiding. Roll Call: Present: Mayor McClellan, Mayor Pro Tem Goodman, Councilmembers Absent: Himmelblau, Snell, Cooke Counci Imembers Mullen, Trevino Mayor McClellan opened the Special Called Meeting, stating that this was for the purpose of canvassing the results of the Special Municipal Election held on January 20, 1979. She commented that this bond election had set a record for the number of people voting. Mr. Dan Davidson, City Manager, stated 25.45% of the registered voters had participated in the election. The following precincts were then reviewed: Mayor McClellan Councilmember Cooke Councilmember Snell Precinct 325 Okay Precinct 421 Okay Precinct 233 - Okay Councilmember Cooke Precinct 433 Okay Mayor McClellan Precinct 326 - Okay Councilmember Himmelblau Precinct 255 It was noted the Election Judge did not fill out the form properly. Transmittal sheet filled out incorrectly. Computer count with 623 minus one invalid ballot came to 622, which is correct. Councilmember Cooke Motion Precinct 422 - Okay Mayor Pro Tem Goodman moved that the Council adopt a resolution verifying the results of the Special Municipal Election held January 20, 1979, for Propositions 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12.
