CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS Special Called Council Meeting November 25, 1981 12:00 NOON First Floor Conference Room 124 West Eighth Street Municipal Building The meeting was called to order with Mayor McClellan presiding. Roll Call: Present: Mayor McClellan, Mayor Pro Tem Trevino, Councilmembers Absent: Deuser, Duncan, Goodman, Mullen Councilmember Urdy Mayor McClellan stated that this is a Special Called Meeting of the Council, and announced that Council will convene in a closed or executive session authorized by Section 2, Paragraphs (e), (f) and (g) of Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated for the purpose of discussing contemplated litigation and real estate negotiation matters to the South Texas Project; and 2. Appointment of Board and Commission members. After such closed or executive session any final action, decision or vote with regard to any matter considered in the closed or executive session will be made in open session, should such action, decision or vote be necessary. Mayor McClellan announced that the Council would go into executive session at this time to consider the items authorized in Section 2, Paragraphs (e), (f) and (g) of Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated. CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS November 25, 1981 The Council then convened in Executive Session. The Council then returned to open session. AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY FOR TAX DEPARTMENT Council had before them a resolution to consider amending the resolution of November 4, 1981 to Hildebrand Surveys for vertical aerial photography, for the Tex Department to provide that the contract for such services to be provided by Hildebrand. Aerial Surveys will be with CAPCA (Capital Area Planning Council). Motion - FAILED TO PASS Councilmember Mullen moved that the Council adopt a resolution. The motion, seconded by Mayor McClellan, FAILED TO CARRY by the following vote: Ayes: Mayor McClellan, Councilmember Mullen Noes: None Abstain: Mayor Pro Tem Trevino, Councilmembers Deuser, Duncan Absent: Councilmember Urdy Not in Council Chambers when roll was called: Councilmember Goodman The reason for the abstention of the three Councilmembers was that Mayor Pro Tem Trevino had a question during roll call. When roll call was finished Mayor Pro Tem Trevino's question was answered. Motion Mayor Pro Tem Trevino moved that the Council adopt a resolution to amend the resolution of November 4, 1981 to Hildebrand Surveys for vertical aerial photography for the Tax Department to provide that the contract for such services to be provided by Hildebrand Aerial Surveys will be with CAPCA (Capital Area Planning Council).
