He said payroll deductions for anything which is not a city-wide deduction is not recommended. He said a proposal for dental insurance for all employees is under consideration and may in included in next year's budget. Mayor McClellan requested Council have one week to study the report which was just given to them. (At this point, Councilmember Deuser left the Council Chamber for the afternoon. He was not feeling well.) Councilmember Mullen requested a report next week on the number who would sign up under the plan. Jerry Spain, representing the Police Association, said they are asking for a payroll deduction, not a whole plan, 250 are in the plan and 50 to 75 would go on a payroll deduction if it were offered. The reports scheduled to be given at 3:45 by the Neighborhood Revitalization ト Council Memo 10 CHANGE ORDER January 6, 1982 The Council, on Councilmember Goodman's motion, Mayor McClellan's second, adopted a resolution approving a Change Order not to exceed $8,556.50 on the Standard Rehabilitation Project at 4000 East 12th Street. (5-0 Vote, Mayor Pro Tem Trevino was out of the room, Councilmember Deuser absent.) Prior to the vote, Councilmember Duncan asked for the difference between this case and Mr. Sabana. Ms. Paula Manning told him that the problem here is that the write-up does not include all items. OFF PEAK PUMPING Ms. Leda Rozelle, chairperson, Water and Wastewater Commission, reported on off-peak wastewater discharge. She said the Commission does not feel they know enough about it yet and asked Council to ask the City Manager to direct staff to approve no off peak pumping unti they are notified. Council unanimously agreed to Ms. Rozelle's suggestion. Mr. Albert DeLaRosa, Acting City Attorney, said there will be no more off peak pumping until further research is done. Council will discuss the South Texas Project.pending litigation. RECESS Council recessed its meeting at 3:55 for the executive session and resumed its recessed meeting at 4:30 in order to adjourn.
