ITY OF AU FOUNDED 1839 Austin City Council MINUTES For Council Chambers, 301 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: Special Called Council Meeting March 06, 1982 10:00 a.m. City Council Carole Keeton McClellan Mayor John TreviƱo, Jr. Mayor Pro Tem Council Members Larry Deuser Roger Duncan Richard Goodman Ron Mullen Charles E. Urdy Nicholas M. Meiszer City Manager Grace Monroe City Clerk The City Council met in a Special Called Council Meeting for the purpose of publicly announcing that they would convene in a closed or executive session to interview applicants for Municipal Court Judges. After the executive session, Mayor McClellan called the Special Council Meeting to order. All Councilmembers were present. MOTION The Council, on Councilmember Duncan's motion and Mayor McClellan's second voted to appoint the following as Municipal Court Judges: J. David Phillips - Presiding Judge Cleve Moten Associate Judge Harriet Murphy - Associate Judge Steve Russell - Associate Judge Wilfred R. Aguilar to be appointed as Associate Judge in the 5th Court which is to be established in July Jodi Lehman - to continue as Relief Judge until Judge Russell leaves in September or January at which time she will take his place as an Associate Judge Diana Granger - Relief Judge John W. Pleuthner - Relief Judge (Vote: 7-0). i : ADJOURN
