Meiszer City Manager Elden Aldridge City Clerk YOF A AUST FOUNDED 283 Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING 3rd FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: DECEMBER 14, 1983 MUNICIPAL BUILDING Mayor Mullen called to order the Special Called Meeting of the Council scheduled for 4:00P.M. for the purpose of considering setting public hearings on the following and noted the absence of Councilmember Urdy: a. b. c. Designation of an area as an "Eligible Blighted Area" pursuant to Article 5190.6, V.T.C.S., the Development Corporation Act of 1979 for the Centennial Center Joint Venture, located at 7301 Burnet Road. (Suggested date December 30, 1983.) An Industrial Development Bond Financed Project for the Centennial Center, Joint Venture, located at 7301 Burnet Road. (Suggested date December 30, 1983) An Industrial Development Bond Financed Commercial Project proposed by the Centennial Center, Joint Venture. (Suggested date December 30, 1983.) Council determined not to take action on the setting of public hearings because the majority of Councilmembers will be out of town on December 30, 1983 and a quorum will not be possible on that date. ADJOURNMENT Council adjourned its meeting at 4:20 p.m.
