MARCH 27, 1984 SPECIAL CALLED MEETING FIRST FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM MUNICIPAL ANNEX Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: Mayor Mullen called to order the Special called meeting of the Council, scheduled for 2:30 p.m., at 3:05 p.m., noting the presence of all Councilmembers. The Mayor announced the purpose of the meeting is to convene in a closed or executive session authorized by Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, for the following purpose: 1. To discuss City Manager candidates with Korn-Ferry, Section 2, Paragraph e. After such closed or executive session, any final action, decision or vote with regard to any matter considered in the closed or executive session shall be made in open session, should such action, decision or vote be necessary. ) RECESS Council recessed its meeting at 3:07 and resumed its recessed meeting, in the Council Chamber, at 5:30 p.m. COUNCIL TO INTERVIEW JORGE CARRASCO Motion The Council, on Mayor Pro Tem Trevino's motion, Councilmember Shipman's second, voted to interview Jorge Carrasco for the position of City Manager on Friday, March 30, 1984 at 4:00 P.M. and delay interviews with other candidates until after his interview. (7-0 Vote) ADJOURNMENT Council adjourned its Special Called Meeting at 5:35 p.m.
