MARCH 30, 1984 EMERGENCY SPECIAL CALLED MEETING Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: Mayor Mullen called to order the Emergency Special Called Meeting of the Council scheduled for 4:00 p.m., noting the presence of all Councilmembers. Mayor Mullen announced Council will go into Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252-17 to meet with Jorge Carrasco about the position of City Manager, pursuant to Section 2, Paragraph g, Personnel and that any action to be taken as a result of such closed or executive session will be done in open meeting. RECESS Council. recessed its meeting for the Executive Session and later resumed its recessed meeting. ΑΡΡΟΙΝΤMENT OF CITY MANAGER The Council, on Mayor Pro Tem Trevino's motion, Councilmember Rose's second, approved the appointment of Jorge Carrasco as City Manager of Austin, Texas with an annual salary of $89,500.00. (7-0 Vote) ADJOURNMENT Council adjourned its meeting at 7:17 p.m.
