DELAYED PAYMENT Mr. Egbert V. Smith appeared before Council to discuss delayed payment on park site, electric bill & deposit, and Spicewood Springs road improvements. ITEM PULLED Pulled from the agenda was Ms. Alicia O. Garcia's request to discuss wastewater in connection with the Salvation Army proposed move, and rezoning of the other 45 acres. Council Memo 2 FAIRVIEW PARK July 12, 1984 Mr. Terry Bray appeared before Council to discuss exemption from site plan requirement in Fairview Park property. Council agreed to bring this back July 26, 1984 at 2:00 p.m. for further consideration. CITIZEN DID NOT APPEAR Mr. Gary L. Nelon, who had requested to appear to present .. funds raised for Armadillo Express during Austin City Street Expo '84, June 1-16, 1984, did not appear. FUNDS PRESENTED Mr. Reginald E. Todd appeared before Council to present a check of $6,634.86 as the total of funds raised for Armadillo Express during Austin City Streets Expo '84, June 1-16, 1984. SALVATION ARMY SITE Mr. Roland Ortiz, Mr. Enrique Lopez and Mr. James Pinedo appeared before Council to discuss the Salvation Army relocation. They all indicated it should be kept in the central business district. CONSENT ORDINANCES The Council, on Councilmember Urdy's motion, Councilmember Shipman's second, waived the requirement for three readings and finally passed the following ordinances in one consent motion: (5-0 Vote, Mayor Mullen and Councilmember Rose absent) Operating Budget Amended the 1983-84 operating budget by accepting a grant in the amount of $2,137 from the Texas Committee for the Humanities to fund a symposium "Images & History" which was held at the Austin History Center on April 28, 1984. Release of Easement Approved release of the following easement: the Utility easement retained at the vacation of Sunset Lane as recorded in Volume 908, Pages 634 and 635 of the Travis County Deed Records.
