Urdy Jorge Carrasco City Manager CITY OF AU POUNDED 1849 Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 11, 3RD FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: 1985 - 6:00 Ρ.Μ. MUNICIPAL BUILDING Mayor Cooksey called to order the Special Called Meeting of the Council scheduled at 6:00 p.m., noting the absence of Councilmember Shipman and Mayor Pro Tem Treyino. Purpose of the meeting was as follows: Elden Aldridge City Clerk : 1. The City Council will announce that it will go into Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Tex. Rev. Civ. St. Annotated, to discuss the following matters; and action, if any, on the matters will be taken during the public meeting after the conclusion of the Executive Session: a. Board and Commission Appointments - Sec. 2, Paragraph g. b. Pending litigation, include but not limited to the following items: Section 2, Paragraph e. (1) Houston Lighting and Power Company, et al v. Brown and Root, et al in Matagorda County and City of Austin vs. Houston Lighting and Power Company in Travis County. c. Land Acquisition - Consideration of possible sites for coal-fired generating plant. Section 2, Paragraph f. 년 The following motion was made in open session: صور Motion The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Councilmember Urdy's second, appointed Chris Eakle and Laura Martin to terms on the Planning Commission. (5-0 Vote, Councilmember Shipman and Mayor Pro Tem Trevino absent) ADJOURNMENT Council adjourned its meeting at 8:20 p.m.
