October 29, 1985 - 4:00 P.M. Mayor Cooksey called to order the meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Trevino. Mayor Cooksey announced the purpose of the meeting is to go into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss the following matters; and action, if any, on the matters will be taken during the public meeting after the conclusion of the executive session: a. Board and Commission Appointments - Section 2 Paragraph g. Council recessed for executive session at 4:20 p.m and resumed its recessed meeting at 6:50 p.m. The Mayor announced Council would make board and commission appointments on October 31, 1985. Listed on the agenda for the executive session were pending litigation concerning Houston Lighting and Power; and lease of real property, Municipal Office Complex. Neither of these were announced or discussed. Council adjourned its meeting at 6:50 p.m.
