Urdy Jorge Carrasco City Manager Elden Aldridge City Clerk 1 FOUNDED 2859 Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - FEBRUARY 25, 1986 - 4:00 Ρ.Μ. 4TH FLOOR AUDITORIUM CENTRAL LIBRARY Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Trevino, Councilmembers Urdy and Humphrey. The Mayor noted the purpose of the meeting was to have a strategic planning session to establish general priorities - Council goals. Executive Session Mayor Cooksey announced Council would enter into Executive Session, pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation, and for personnel matters (Board and Commission Appointments - Section 2, Paragraph g.) No official action of the City Council will be taken on any of these matters unless such item is specifcally listed on the agenda. Recess Council recessed for executive session at 4:45 р.m. and resumed its recessed meeting at 6:00 p.m. Agenda Change Councilmember Shipman requested the weekly Thursday Council Meeting agenda be changed to have board and commission reports heard at 1:30 p.m., right after. Citizen Communications. Council agreed to the change. Water & Wastewater Commission Appointment The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Mayor Cooksey's second, appointed David Price as a member.
