THE CENTRAL LIBRARY - Mayor Cooksey called to order the meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmember Shipman. City Manager reports were given on Pilot Program for Mechanized Collection of Refuse; and Fire Department C.I.P. and Staffing. The two other City Manager reports scheduled were postponed. The items scheduled for a work session were also postponed. Mayor Cooksey announced Council would enter into Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and for personnel matters. No official action of the City Council will be taken on any of these matters unless such item is specifically listed on the agenda. a. Board and Commission Appointments - Section 2, Paragraph g. b.
