Barney Knight, Tom Young and Shlela Matthews discussed the Budget Priority Topic on the Near Poor. Mayor Cooksey then announced Council would go into Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated to discuss matters of Board and Commission appointments - Section 2,Paragraph g; and Land Acquisition- Section 2, Paragraph f. with discussion on Town Lake Parkland, Electric Utility Lease and Laguna Gloria Site; and Personnel Matters, Section 2, Paragraph g, selection of Municipal Court Clerk. Council adjourned its meeting at 6:35 p.m. No action was taken on matters disuceed during executive session.
