Urdy Jorge Carrasco City Manager Elden Aldridge City Clerk Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the presence of all Councilmembers. CIP. Council held a work session on Operating Budget/ Water Conservation Rate Structure The Council, by acclamation, adopted a resolution setting a public hearing on the Water Conservation Rate Structure for August 14, 1986 at 7:00 p.m. Consolidation of Municipal Offices The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Councilmember Rose's second, adopted a resolution accepting the results of a cost-benefit study of consolidation of certain municipal offices and directing the City Manager to begin preparation of requests for proposals. (5-0 Vote, Councilmembers Humphrey and Urdy out of the room.) Councilmember Cooksey said he would like to see another scenario for the lease, assuming the Mayor and Council offices; management offices and budget offices remain in the current Municipal Building. Adjournment The Council adjourned its meeting at 6:00 p.m.
