Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Trevino and Councilmember Urdy. TRANSPORTATION ISSUES The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Councilmember Humphrey's second, adopted a resolution regarding transportation issues which were before the Texas Legislature during Special Session. (4-0 Vote, Councilmembers Shipman and Urdy and Mayor Pro Tem Trevino absent.) INTERIM AIRPORT IMPROVEMENTS REPORT The Council, by unanimous consent, set the date of September 16, 1986 at 4:00p.m. for presentation of the Interim Airport Improvements Report. WORK SESSION Council had a work session on the operations budget and discussed Growth Services departments of Building Inspection, OLDS, and Planning and Growth Management. Postponed at the City Manager's request, was discussion of Environmental Protection. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
