Urdy Jorge Carrasco City Manager Elden Aldridge City Clerk FOUNDED 1039 Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: - AUGUST 19, 1986 - 4:00 Ρ.Μ. Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Trevino and Councilmember Urdy. TRANSPORTATION ISSUES The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Councilmember Humphrey's second, adopted a resolution regarding transportation issues which were before the Texas Legislature during Special Session. (4-0 Vote, Councilmembers Shipman and Urdy and Mayor Pro Tem Trevino absent.) INTERIM AIRPORT IMPROVEMENTS REPORT The Council, by unanimous consent, set the date of September 16, 1986 at 4:00p.m. for presentation of the Interim Airport Improvements Report. WORK SESSION Council had a work session on the operations budget and discussed Growth Services departments of Building Inspection, OLDS, and Planning and Growth Management. Postponed at the City Manager's request, was discussion of Environmental Protection. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
