WORK SESSION Council held a work session on the Airport. After presentations by airport consultant Helmuth of Greiner Austin Team and Gene Faulkner of the FAA, it was decided that some additional meetings were needed. MOTION On Council member Mark Rose's motion and Council member Smoot Carl-Mitchell's second, the council voted to hold a series of community meetings in which consultants will explain options for the future of Robert Mueller Municipal Airport, including the need to consider moving it. Vote: 4-0 (Mayor Pro Tem Trevino, absent; Mayor Frank Cooksey and Council member George Humphrey left the meeting early.) HOUSING SUB-COMMITTEE REPORT With Council member Charles Urdy presiding, it was decided that the scheduled report of the Housing Sub-Committee would be delayed until a full Council could be present. CITY MANAGER REPORT The City Manager reported that the same basic procedures would be followed concerning the Halloween festivities on 6th Street. ADJOURN 6:45 p. m.
