Council held work sessions on Downtown Commission and Civic Center (Marketing Studies and Facilities Program) BOARD & COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS Council made the following board and commission appointments. Motion The Council, on Councilmember Humphrey's motion, Councilmember Rose's second, appointed Anne Page DeBois, Elaine LaFleur, Patricia Pearcy and Angelo Zottarelli as members of the Arts Commission. (7-0 Vote) Motion The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Mayor Pro Tem Trevino's second, approved Charles Wright as a member of the Construction Advisory Committee. (7-0 Vote) Motion The Council, on Councilmember Rose's motion, Councilmember Shipman's second, approved Bob Leonard, Steven Paulson, and Elyse Pivnick as members of the Environmental Board. (6-0 Vote, Mayor Pro Tem Trevino out of the room.) Altes to the Resource Management Commission. (7-0 Vote) Motion The Council, on Councilmember Shipman's motion, Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's second, appointed Barbara McArthur to the Urban Transportation Commission.
