Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Trevino and Councilmember Urdy. Before a quorum of the Council was present, Paula Phillips reported on Contract Execution for Affordable Housing. The Overton Case was discussed, with a statement made by the attorney for the Overton Case, David Van Os. RESOLUTION CONCERNING CONSTRUCTION OF RENTAL HOUSING Motion The Council, on Councilmember Humphrey's motion, Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's second, adopted a resolution authorizing construction of a rental housing unit at 2112 Concho Street by the Blacklands Neighborhood Development Corporation. (4-0 Vote, Mayor Pro Tem Trevino and Councilmember Urdy absent. Councilmember Rose out of the room) EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooksey announced Council would enter into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting. - 1.
