FOUR SEASEONS HOTEL, LITTLE COLONY ROOM - 101 SAN JACINTO BLVD. Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: Mayor Cooksey called to order at 10:55 a.m. the special called Council meeting scheduled for 10:00 a.m., noting the presence of all Councilmembers, except Mayor Pro Tem Trevino, who was absent from the City, and Councilmember Urdy who arrived later in the morning. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooksey announced that the purpose of the meeting was to enter into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation, and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting. RECESS 1. Pending Litigation - Section 2, Paragraph e (a) City of Austin v. Houston Lighting and Power Council came out of executive session at 11:03 a.m. and recessed the meeting at 11:04 a.m. RECONVENED The Council reconvened the recessed meeting at 4:05 p.m. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooksey announced that Council would enter into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss the following matter. Council Memo 2 No official action will be taken except in open meeting: 1. Pending Litigation - Section 2, Paragraph e (a) City of Austin v. Houston Lighting and Power The Council went into executive session at 4:07 p.m. RECESS 3/8/87 At 5:08 p.m., the City Council came out of executive session and recessed the meeting at 5:09 p.m. RECONVENED The Council reconvened their meeting at 8:11 p.m. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooksey announced that City Council would go into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss the following matter. No official action will be taken except in open session: 1. Pending Litigation - Section 2, Paragraph e (a) City of Austin v. Houston Lighting and Power The Council went into executive session at 8:12 p.m. RECESS At 10:00 p.m. the City Council came out of executive session and recessed the meeting at 10:01 p.m. RECONVENED The Council reconvened the meeting at 10:45 p.m. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooksey announced that City Council would go into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss the following matter. No official action will be taken except in open session: 1. Pending Litigation - Section 2, Paragraph e (a) City of Austin v. Houston Lighting and Power ANNOUNCEMENT At 10:57 p.m. the Council came out of executive session. Mayor C Council Memo 3 3/8/87 Cooksey announced that the special called Council meeting scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 1987 at the Four Seasons Hotel would be rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. at the same location. ADJOURNMENT The Council adjourned its meeting at 10:58 р.m.
