Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: - SPECIAL CALLED MEETING Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmembers Carl-Mitchell and Urdy. The Mayor announced the purpose of the meeting was to consider a resolution canvassing the returns of the April 4, 1987, General Municipal Election; and to consider an ordinance calling a runoff election for Saturday, May 2, 1987.
