Urdy Jorge Carrasco City Manager Elden Aldridge City Clerk FOUNDED 1839 Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING APRIL 21, 1987 Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmembers Shipman and Humphrey. CITY MANAGER REPORTS Virginia Rutledge, Director of Finance; and City Attorney Barney Knight presented reports on the Bond Counsel. City Manager Carrasco said there was no Legislative Update report. Mayor Cooksey asked for a briefing by the legislative subcommittee. Hal Kopistra presented the Information Systems report. Councilmember Carl-Mitchell discussed a long range master plan. WORKSESSION Work session topics included a report from Director of the Airport, Tim Ward on the Interim Airport Design; and a Joint Meeting with the Environmental Board was held. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooksey announced Council would go into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this Meeting: 1.
