Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - May 30, 1987 - 8:30 A.M. TO 3:45 P.M. HILLS FITNESS CENTER, 4611 WEST BEE CAVES ROAD Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: Mayor Cooksey called to order the meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmember Humphrey and Mayor Pro Tern Trevino. Mayor Cooksey announced the special called meeting was a Council retreat. On the agenda was budget discussion, workplan and special projects. Council directed the posting of an addendum to the June 2, 1987 agenda to consider approval of a strategy and associated budget amendments to meet the current year General Fund Shortfall. Council took no action on a resolution to consider appointments of Councilmembers to the Policy Planning and Budget Committee and the Audit Committee. Council adjourned its meeting at 3:45 p.m.
