TY OF FOUNDER 1839 B * Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING 4TH FLOOR AUDITORIUM - JULY 14, 1987 CENTRAL LIBRARY Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: : - 3:00 Ρ.Μ. Mayor Cooksey called to order the meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmember Shipman. Mayor Pro Tem Trevino and Councilmember Urdy were not present at the opening, but entered later in the day. WORKSESSION Council held a worksession on ratification and reaffirmation of the anti-lobbying provision applicability to the remaining Civic Center Selection Process. PLANNING COMMISSION APPOINTMENT The Council, on Councilmember Humphrey's motion, Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's second, appointed Laura Martin and Jay Powell as members of the Planning Commission. (4-0 Vote, Mayor Pro Tem Trevino, Councilmembers Shipman and Urdy absent) EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooksey announced Council would go into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated to discuss the following. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting. Land Acquisition - Section 2, Paragraph f (a) Avante Building RECESS AND ADJOURNMENT Council recessed its meeting for executive session at 4:30 p.m. and adjourned its meeting at 6:03 p.m.
