TY OF AUSTIN JUUNDID 1030 Austin City Council MINUTES For August 12, 1987 - 3:00 Ρ.Μ. WORKSESSION Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: Mayor Cooksey called to order the meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmember Urdy. The Mayor announced the purpose of the meeting was to hold a worksession on the Operating and Capital Budget. Departments which gave their reports were Transportation and Public Service, who received Council approval to lay off 75 people in their department; Information Systems, Internal Audit, Legal and the Library. The Mayor announced the worksession would be continued to 2:30p.m. on August 13, 1987. Council adjourned its meeting at 5:55 p.m.
