TY OF AU POUNDED FRES Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING FOURTH FLOOR AUDITORIUM - Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: - AUGUST 18, 1987 CENTRAL LIBRARY - 3:00 P.Μ. Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmembers Shipman and Urdy; and Mayor Pro Tem Trevino. Mayor Cooksey announced the first item would be a presentation of Aviation Issues, specifically, long term development options for Robert Mueller Airport. Tim Ward, Director of the Airport, discussed the alternatives and said the cost is high. He Rick Wheeler, assistant project director, Greiner* Austin Team, showed slides depicting the options. said they are recommending Option C4-C, and compared it to other options. Mr. Ward told Council all airlines have been involved in the discussions from the beginning. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooksey announced Council would enter into executive session, pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation, and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda. - 1. Pending Litigation Section 2, Paragraph e City of Austin v.
