Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the presence of all Councilmembers. WORKSESSION Council held a work session on Airport Presentation and Presentation by Austin Community College re: Grove Boulevard. BOARD & COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS Motion The Council, on Councilmember Nofziger's motion, Mayor Cooksey's second, appointed Joe Englander, David Rodriguez and Clifford Antoine as members of the Music District Ad-Hoc Committee. (7-0 Vote) Motion The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Councilmember Shipman's second, appointed Dr. Carolyn Parker as a member of the Planning Commission. (7-0 Vote) Motion The Council, on Councilmember Shipman's motion, Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's second, appointed the following to AustinPlan: (7-0 Vote) Steering Committee: Dr. Augustine Garza, John German, Craig Sandlin, Francine Prosser, Martin Camp, Cathy Bonner.
