1 Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - September 15, 1987 FOURTH FLOOR AUDITORIUM - CENTRAL LIBRARY Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: - 3:00 Ρ.Μ. Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, set for 3:00p.m., at 4:15 p.m. - EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooksey announced Council would go into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation, and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting.1. Pending Litigation Paragraph e (a) City of Austin v. Houston Lighting and Power; (b) Overton et al v. City of Austin. Council recessed for executive session and then resumed its special called meeting. CITY MANAGER REPORTS - Section 2, City Manager reports on 9-1-1 Funding Alternatives and Residual Value Bond Programs were presented. WORKSESSION A joint worksession was held with the Electric Utility Commission regarding electric rates. NO ACTION ON RESOLUTION No action was taken on consideration in the formation of an emergency communications district by the nomination of two members to the Board of Managers for the Emergency Communications District of Travis County. ADJOURNMENT Council adjourned its meeting at 6:15 p.m.
