i Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING September 22, 1987 - 3:00 Ρ.Μ. Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmember Humphrey. CITY MANAGER REPORTS City Manager reports on Employee Placement Update, presented by City Manager Carrasco; and Airport Curfew, presented by Airport Director Tim Ward were heard by the Council. BUDGET AMENDMENT ORDINANCE DEFERRED Council had before them for consideration an ordiance to consider a budget amendment to accept a resolution by the Resource Management Commission regarding irrigation of Jimmy Clay Golf Course to implement cost saving measures. After discussion and a motion by Councilmember Shipman, which died for lack of a second, Council directed the City Manager to return with a report on October 27, 1987. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooksey announced Council would go into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting. 1.
