SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OCTOBER 27, 1987 FOURTH FLOOR AUDITORIUM OF THE CENTRAL LIBRARY Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: Mayor Cooksey called to order the meeting of the Council noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Trevino and Councilmember Urdy. CITY MANAGER REPORTS City Manager Reports on Update on Golf Course Irrigation Proposals, Cultural Facilities Policy and Tips Warehouse were given. WORK SESSION A work session was held on Corp of Engineers Report on Little Walnut Creek and Shoal Creek. No report was given concerning Gilbane Update. NO ACTION ON RESOLUTIONS, EXECUTIVE SESSION OR APPOINTMENTS Council took no action on the following resolutions: 1. Consider extending the time for the RFP for City Financial Counsel. 2. Consider determining the necessity of providing notice to citizens potentially impacted by the expansion of Robert Mueller Airport or by the relocation of the Austin Municipal Airport to the Manor site. Council did not go into executive session, nor did they make any board or commission appointments. ADJOURNMENT Council adjourned its meeting at 6:02 p.m.
