Y OF AUSTI FOUNDED 1829 Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: : - FEBRUARY 15, 1988 - 1:00 P.Μ. Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Trevino and Councilmember Urdy. WORKSESSION - CITY MANAGER SEARCH Council held a worksession on the City Manager search and received the report of Mercer/Slavin, Inc., who are conducting the search and recruitment. Council was told there have been sixty-six applicants to date and they will receive a report on March 2, 1988. Interviews with the applicants will be held on March 4 and March 5, 1988. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooksey announced Council would enter into Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote.by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting. - 1.
