FOURTH FLOOR AUDITORIUM, CENTRAL LIBRARY Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the presence of all Councilmembers WORKSESSION ITEMS : Council held a worksession on the Gilbane Update. A Joint Meeting with Austin Representatives of the Appraisal District was held as a worksession. CITY MANAGER REPORTS The report on Electric Billing Issues will be presented on February 18, 1988. Council heard a report on Fiscal Issues: a. Revenue Update and b. Austin Police Department. PUBLIC HEARING Council held a public hearing on Single Member Districts. Mike Workman was the only speaker. Hearing will be continued to February 18, 1988. OAK WILT PROGRAM A City Manager Report was presented on Oak Wilt Program. BARTON CREEK WATERSHED POLICY A report was given on Update on Development of Barton Creek Watershed Policy. Motion The Council, on Councilmember Shipman's motion, Councilmember Humphrey's second, voted to extend time on the Environmental Board Council Memo 2 Report to mid-March. (7-0 Vote): 2/16/88 REPORT POSTPONED Postponed to February 18, 1988 is the City Manager Report on Transportation of Hazardous Materials. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooksey announced Council would go into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting. 1.
