FOUNDED 1839 Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING FOURTH FLOOR AUDITORIUM - Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: - February 23, 1988 CENTRAL LIBRARY - 3:00 Ρ.Μ. Mayor Cooksey called to order the meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmember Nofziger. WORKSESSION - CIVIC CENTER PROJECT Council held a worksession on Gilbane Update on the Civic Center Project. They did not hold a worksession on City Manager Search. CITY MANAGER REPORTS Council heard City Manager Reports concerning Transportation and Public Services Report, and Town Lake Master Plan. ITEM POSTPONED Council had before them for consideration approval of the following contract: NIEMAN, HANKS, PURYEAR PAGE & BRYANT COMPANY 1609 Shoal Creek Blvd. Suite 300 Austin, Texas 78701 Airport Liability Insurance for the Aviation Department Total $170,000.00 88-S046-PS Council directed the contract to be re-bid and bring it back to them. ADJOURNMENT The meeting of the Council was adjourned at 7:00P.M.
