FOUNDED INST Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING FOURTH FLOOR AUDITORIUM Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas - Memorandum To: - - MARCH 8, 1988 CENTRAL LIBRARY 3:00 Ρ.Μ. Mayor Cooksey called to order the meeting of the City Council, noting the presence of all Councilmembers. Council held worksession on Gilbane Update on the Civic Center Project and Consider Options to Address Projected Shortfall in the Police Department 1987-88 Operating Budget. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Cooksey announced Council would go into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation, and for personnel matters. No final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting. 1. Pending Litigation - Section 2, Paragraph e a. City of Austin v. Houston Lighting and Power Company RECESS AND ADJOURNMENT Council recessed its meeting at 4:47 p.m. for executive session and resumed its regular meeting for adjournment at 5:35 p.m. No action was taken on any other items on the agenda.
