Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - AUGUST 1, 1988 - 3:30 P.M Council Chambers, 307 V*st Second Street, Austin, Texas Mayor Cook* called to order' the special called meeting of the Council* noting the presence of all Councilmembers. He announced the purpose of the meeting vas to preaent the budget to Council. John Ware, Acting City Manager, presented the Fiscal Tear 1988-89 Operating Budget and Capital Improvements Volumes to the Councilmembers. Mr. Ware then proceeded to discuss the budget presentation* Sarah Farley, ludget Director, discussed a companion document for members of the Council. The budget calendar vas also mentioned. The Acting City Manager and members of the Council thanked the staff for their long hours of work on t;h* • budget documents. ADJOURNMEKT Council adjourned its meeting at 4:45 P.M.
