FOUNDER 1029 Austin City Council MINUTES For May 03, 1988 - SPECIAL CALLED MEETING FOURTH FLOOR AUDITORIUM Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Memorandum To: - - CENTRAL LIBRARY 3:00 Ρ.Μ. Mayor Cooksey called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Mayor Pro Tem Trevino, Councilmembers Shipman and Urdy. Norm Standerfer, Director, Planning and Growth Management Department, showed slides illustrating the Planning and Growth Management Department Business Plan presentation. Councilmember Humphrey had to leave the meeting early so the following motion was made; Motion The Council, on Councilmember Carl-Mitchell's motion, Councilmember Humphrey's second, appointed E.K. Tucker and Mike Anderson as members of the Private Industry Council. (4-0 Vote, Mayor Pro Tem Trevino, Councilmembers Urdy and Shipman absent) Councilmember Humphrey left the Council meeting at 3:45 p.m. At that point there was not a quorum, but Mr. Standerfer continued with his presentation. The Council meeting was concluded at 4:17 p.m., without a quorum. No other items on the agenda were discussed.
