OLAUSTIN FOUNDID 1989 Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING FOURTH FLOOR AUDITORIUM - July 26, 1988 - 3:00 Ρ.Μ. - CENTRAL LIBRARY Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas : Mayor Cooke called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmembers Humphrey and Urdy. WORKSESSION Council held a worksession on discussion of Council Goals and Priorities. a. Development of Process b. Development of Timeline Mayor Cooke discussed the timeline and said there should be a measureability of goals concerning timelines. He said Council will be discussing the 1988-89 Financial Plan, setting timelines and conducting a City Manager search during the month of August. Mayor Pro Tem Shipman said Council should share their budget goals at the first budget worksession. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 3:40 p.m. Council did not hold a worksession, nor did they make any board or commission appointments.
