Austin City Council MINUTES EMERGENCY SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - July 28, 1988 - 11:00 A.M. Council Chambers. 307 Writ Second Street, Austin. Texas Mayor Cooke called to order the emergency special called meeting of the Council* noting the presence of all Councilmembers. The Mayor announced the purpose of the meeting was to go into executive session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss matters of land acquisition, litigation and for personnel matters* No final action* decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the agenda for this meeting. 1. Pending Litigation - Section 2, Paragraph e (a) City of Austin v. Houston Lighting and Power Council recessed Its meeting at 11:20 p.m. for executive session and adjourned their meeting at 1:05 P.M. Mayor Cooke announced no action would be taken as a result of the meeting.
