Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - AUGUST 6/ 1988 - 8:00 A.M. GOVERNOR'S ROOM, RADISSON HOTEL/ 700 SAN JACINTO Council Chambers, 307 Wfest Second Street. Austin, Texas Mayor Cooke called the meeting to order/ noting the presence of Councilmembers Barnstone/ Carl-Mitchell/ Kofziger and Urdy. The Mayor announced that the purpose of the meeting was to go into Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252-17* Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated/ to discuss matters of land/ acquisition/ litigation and for personnel matters. No final action/ decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the Agenda for this meeting. 1. Personnel Matters - Section 2/ Paragraph g (a) Interview for City Manager The Council recessed its meeting at 8:42 a.m., for Executive Session and adjourned their meeting at 4:30 p.m. Mayor Cooke announced that no action would be taken as a result of the meeting.
