Austin City Council MINUTES For August 15, 1988 - 1:00 P.M. - SPECIAL CALLED MEETING Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Mayor Cooke called to order the special called meeting of the Council, noting the absence of Councilmember Urdy. Mayor Cooke announced the purpose of the meeting was to consider appointments to the Employee Suggestion Box Panel. Motion The Council, on Mayor Pro Tern Shipman's motion, Councilmember Carl-Mitchell1s second, appointed the following as members of the Employee Suggestion Box Panel: (6-0 Vote, Councilmember Urdy absent) Margret Hofmann - ex City Councilmember Izzy Cordova - representing Hispanic Chanber of Commerce (Robert Ramirez alternate) Margaret Moore - League of Women Voters Marcos de Leon - Interested citizen Joan Lava - LBJ School Carol Hadnot - Capitol City Chamber of Commerce The meeting was called to order at 3:08 P.M. and adjourned at 3:10 P.M.
