Austin City Council MINUTES For August 17, 1988-9:00 A.M. - SPECIAL CALLED MEETING Council Chambers, 307 West Second Street, Austin, Texas Mayor Cooke called to order the meeting of the Council, noting the presence of all Councilmembers. Mayor Cooke announced the purpose of the meeting was to hear more reports from departments concerning their proposed budget for FY 1988-89. Reports were given by Chief of Police Everett for the Police Department; Fire Chief Bill Roberts for the Fire Department; Tom Young for Brackenridge Hospital. Council adjourned its meeting at 12:00 Noon.
