Austin City Council MINUTES For SPECIAL CALLED MEETING - AUGUST is, 1988 - 11:30 A.M. Council Chambers, 307 VVfest Second Street, Austin, Texas Mayor Cooke called the meeting to order, noting the presence of Mayor Pro Tern Shipman and Councilmembers Carl-Mitchell and Nofziger. The Mayor announced that the purpose of the meeting vas to go into Executive Session pursuant to Article €252-17, Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, to discuss natters of land acquisition/ litigation and for personnel matters. Ko final action, decision or vote by the City Council will be taken on any subject or matter unless specifically listed on the Agenda for this meeting. 1. Personnel Matters - Section 2/ Paragraph g (a) Interview for City Manager . The Council recessed its meeting at 11:30 a.m./ for Executive Session and adjourned their meeting at 1:55 p.m. Mayor Cooke announced that no action would be taken as a result of the meeting.
